Local 159, covering eight counties including Clark, Coles, Cumberland, Douglas, Edgar, Macon, Moultrie, and Shelby, is part of the Laborers' International Union of North America (LIUNA). With over 500,000 members, LIUNA is the eighth largest labor union in the U.S., representing construction workers, government employees, healthcare providers, industrial workers, service personnel, and educators.
